About Me

I wanted to start a boutique that offered women of all ages and sizes a resource for modest apparel and accessories at an affordable cost. My inspiration came from Proverbs 31 and what it means to be a "virtuous" woman. Proverbs 31:25 says "Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come." I want women, no matter their age or size, to feel as though they are clothed with strength and honor and present themselves in respectable and modest attire before others and before God.

Where did the name Abiding Love come from? It comes from my two favorite words in the Bible: "Abide" and "Agape". Both come from the scripture John 15:10, "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." Abide means to live or to dwell and agape (the Greek word used in this scripture for love) is the highest form of love or God's love toward us. To "abide" in "agape" means to live or to dwell in God's love toward us. Therefore, we got the name "Abiding Love Boutique".
